Pins

Pins is a fast-paced arcade roguelite where you control two pins, pop falling Bloons, avoid Bricks, and try to survive as long as possible.

As your score increases, you'll encounter Perks that make you stronger — but also Curses that make your run more challenging. Every run can play out differently depending on the choices you make.

This is the first full release of Pins. The game is still an indie project, and more content, improvements, and polish may be added in future updates.

New Features:

• Easy & Hard Modes — Easy Mode has been added. In Hard Mode, missing even a single Bloon costs you a life. In Easy Mode, missed Bloons no longer cost you a life, and you only need to avoid Bricks.
• Bloon Streak Perk — Until reaching the next level, 2 Bricks will appear after every 7 Bloons.
• Countdown After Reaching the Next Level — A countdown now appears before the game continues after reaching the next level.
• Countdown Toggle — You can turn the countdown on or off from the Perk/Curse selection menu.
• Slow Motion After Continuing — After continuing the game from the Perk/Curse selection menu, the game briefly enters slow motion to make the transition back into the run smoother.

Gameplay Changes:

• The amount of speed gained when reaching the next level has been reduced to make the difficulty increase smoother and more balanced.
• The score requirements for reaching the next level have been changed.
• When you lose your last life, the Bloon you missed is shown to you.
• Bloons and Bricks are no longer destroyed when reaching the next level or pausing the game, and now remain until the current run is completely over.

Visual Changes:

• Updated the Play button visuals.
• Added a Home button to return to the main menu.
• Made various UI changes and improvements.
• Fixed a bug related to the Perk/Curse selection menu UI.

Performance Improvements:

• Optimized game performance and improved overall smoothness.
